Ruby Hansen Murray (Osage, Cherokee) is a columnist for the Osage News. A MacDowell and Hedgebrook fellow, she’s been a SWWIM resident at The Betsy. Her work can be found in The John Hopkins Review, Ecotone, PRISM, South Florida Poetry Journal, and Pleiades. 𐓊𐒻𐒿𐒷 appears at Broadsided Press. She has an MFA in Fiction and Nonfiction from the Institute of American Indian Arts. She’s a citizen of the Osage and Cherokee Nations with West Indian roots living along the lower Columbia River.
